Part Number Thread for L300

These are the parts I have in my cart. Are they all compatible with the 1990 L300 Diesel Starwagon?

Hi All! Im new to finding parts and have a few questions.

I'm looking for part numbers for these:
1. Water Pump and Timing Belt Kit (35 series)
2. Injection Pump Seal Kit
3. Thermostat

I found all these at http://www.ccautos.ca for the 4D56 and am wondering if they will work for a Delica L300 Starwagon? Are these the same? Sorry if this is a naive question or if I overlooked this already being covered in the thread. I really appreciate the help!
The L300 came with the 4d56 so unless you have the gas version they should work fine. Check megazip.net, Amayama.com or eoc-data for part numbers if you want to use you VIN to find originals

Alternator belts- AC Delco 15425
Been running them for 2 months now with no squeaks. The length of the belt centers the tensioner bolt after tightening.

Anyone have a source or an alternate part number for an A/C Clutch relay for an 89 L300? For the life of me I can't find a replacement for the burnt out one (image attached). Any help would be appreciated!

I can't find a source other than for used replacements (ebay), but IDT there is anything special about the relay... I think any SPDT (4 pole) 12v 20A relay could be made to work.
This looks really close, but I would be a bit surprised if the plug matched up. This could be used to adapt the harness over to a new relay.

Anyone have the part number(s) for the rear brake kit made for Montero that works on a Deli?
I haven't done them yet, but Duralast 524 shoes fit the 89 Montero and the Mitsubishi Van (US L300). I'm pretty sure the Montero Drums fit as well...

Thanks for your help! I ended up finding the Mitsubishi catalogue part number for this part, MB332453. It's normally listed as an ABS relay for an Eclipse.

I replaced a couple of burned-out bulbs in the Toshiba V2 sockets in my instrument gauge panel. Here are the bulbs I used...

Bulbs from BulbTown were $.20-.50 each. The tiny ones are pretty adorable. Some sockets and bulbs are also available from Speedometer Bulbs but only a small portion of their online catalog appears to be stocked.

Not knowing much about this... It looks like for each tube size, you can move up and down in wattage in very fine increments if you want. The 158 bulb for example appears to have dozens of cousins of the same shape. Given this, it seems very unlikely that my replacement bulbs matched the wattage of the OE bulbs :D

Sliding window seals. I need these for all three windows. I swear that I’ve seen threads with the part #s but can’t seem to run back across them. I just need the rubber part that the window slides on. What is the reference part. The diagram is hella confusing from the parts suppliers.

Great Thanks..Now for the seemingly unfortunate part. It seems discontinued for the Left Side Quarter Panels. The sliding door (above) had both. Any insight into these?

63335R will pull something up but 63335L will not. Not in Megazip, not in Amayama.

IDT there's any difference between the L/R ones. But I haven't messed with them so I don't have first hand experience.

Think I figured it out. Bare with me on this. The window seals are located in two different places in the catalog. One for the Rear Door (actually the side door) and the rear quarter panel.

Now what's not mentioned is the window behind the drivers side (RHD model) which is a wall not a door.
The catalog lists a left and right as being available. Seeing as the windows are both the same size this would imply to get the left and right to seal up the corresponding window.

For the Rear Quarter Panel Window, there is only a Right Side window as the Left window is fixed. The Catalog offers a RH side seal and while it lists a LH side seal, it won't actually pull up a part #. So there would be your three part #'s.

Wandering Peso had its seals replaced and listed the part #'s but again, it was kind of confusing. For the back window they called it out as "1/2 slider driver rear" which is correct as it only opens from 1 side rather than both however, this was kind of weird to me and left me thinking it only covered one out of 2 seals needed since I was unclear on how many seals were needed per window. hah...never ending.

So I am ordering 1 each of the Window Run Channels this week and can confirm back.

Left Sliding Door - "Run Channel, RR DOOR WINDOW GLASS,LH" - MB416313 - QTY 1
Right Center - "Run Channel, RR DOOR WINDOW GLASS,RH" - MB416314 - QTY 1
Rear Right Quarter Panel - "Run Channel, QTR WINDOW,RH" - MB478210 - QTY 1

Hi all

I’m trying to cross reference a metal gasket to avoid paying $25 for quick shipping through Amayama. And Japan is in holiday mode at the moment, so not much of anything is going out right now from there.

The gasket on Megazip is MD050087, MD145175, and/or MD303023, and is labeled as “gasket, engine air intake fitting”.

Can anyone say that this gasket is the same as something domestic like on a turbo’ed Montero or whatnot?

Ultimately, I’m replacing the short turbo air outlet hose (MR204420) and this gasket is cracked.

IDK of a cross. But high heat silicon seems to be fine for that connection (I used permatex red). Or you can buy gasket material in small sheets pretty cheap.

Thanks for the info @sk66. So you're not getting any oil seepage, or a vacuum leak with Permatex Red?

A sheet of Fel-Pro Fel-Ramic may do the trick being that it has a metal core, but this is obviously not a low pressure exhaust application. Maybe for now, Permatex Red + the cracked gasket can suffice for now, then a cheap slow-boat order from Megazip for later.

It would be a boost/pressure leak, but no, no issues so far. I also used it on the EGR blocking plate on the intake manifold, and that's been installed like that for ~ 3yrs now.
IIRC, that gasket is just a basic paper/fiber one, and quite thin... IDT the location is all that demanding (the intake doesn't get near as hot as the exhaust).

Er, sorry, yes - boost.
You just reminded me that my father in law used red Permatex on our EGR delete block off plate, and that has worked great.
The gasket I’m replacing is bery thin metal w/o any texture like Fel-Pro metal-composite gaskets often have.
