There is a lot of commonality between early Monteros V6's (89-00), Montero Sports (97-04), and Mighty Max's/Ram 50 V6 4x4's (90-95) that were sold in the states. Much of the drivetrain is very similar if not exact in many cases.
Yes, i would recommend extending the lines with any suspension lift. You may not notice an issue while on the pavement, but once you start to off-road and articulate, you can quickly run into issues. Plus we are currently offering free lifts up to 2", so no brainer.
We have and we currently are doing that. Right now we are offering up to 2" lift at no additional cost. Just put your lift information in the "Delivery Instructions" box during checkout. We will do the rest.
Good read on Mitsubishi Hybrid LSD's that are found in other Mitsubishi products. They are nice everyday, all scenario units. Especially on snow and ice. They were offered in 9" and 9.5" Monteros during the late 90's...
If you search around Mitsubishi put Hybrid LSD's (clutch with VCU) in the Monteros that you can snatch. Pretty sure they were mostly 9" housings though. Those would be the best of both worlds.
Not exactly suspension parts related, but you will max out your rear brake line with a 2" lift. I would suggest updating the whole system with longer, improved lines that are braided stainless steel.
