Long shot here! I'm helping put together the 2024 snowfest parade on 3/2. Would be great to get a Delica JDM van crew going in the parade - could round it out with a Delicas around the lake thing if anyone is inclined.
Rear latch has failed! Replaced it. The damn thing still won't close all the way. I ordered some spray-style lithium grease to really get it in there. I wonder if there's something else I could be trying?
Hey, OP. Did you get the title as well, or just the plates?
Who did you work with at Daly City Mitsubishi? Seems worthwhile to get my hands on that sticker, and I'm in that area somewhat regularly.
Thanks y'all! For the front door it just needed new lube. Thanks KL98! I'm in the Sierras, and yes it just got cold. I used white lithium grease. The rear door was also lubed and seems to be working better.
Thanks!!! I have seen a messed up tooth in there, but wasn't sure the ticking was coming from that actuator. I'll try that fix and will replace if that doesn't work.
Upon startup (fired or just on,) i get a ticking noise for about 30 seconds. After looking under the car it appears to be related to the heater vent actuator. Anyone ran into this one? Considering replacing and going from there.
My front door and rear hatch love to pop open when trying to close. I though this was due an angle but ran across someone in a thread discussing an actuator? The door will slam shut, then not close? Possible I need to add some graphite lube?
Has anyone else had this issue?
