    Rear Heater L300 help

#9 fuse is ok. Fan switches at dash and in the rear both light up. I hear a relay under the dash when I turn on either fan switch. I took the wall apart to get into the rear fan controls. No power to the 3 position fan speed control. Cleaned every connection I can get to. I'm thinking now it's...

    Rear Heater L300 help

The fan quit working in the rear. Dash light and rear fan light still come on. I can hear a relay under the dash when the fan switch is toggled on and off. I'm wondering if there is a fuse at the blower motor accessed from the underside of the van. Any expertise with the rear heater would be...

    Big Import Order and Hard-to-find-Parts

Any chance front mirrors for L300 are on your list? My mirrors themselves are ok, but the frames are totally rotted through.

    Headlight needed - L300

Thanks, @sk66, I've seen them and they work well, @Krazykraut had them on his rig. I will go that route eventually, but the budget is really tight right now.

    Headlight needed - L300

I'm looking for a right hand side headlight for a 92' L300. I checked with Coombs and they don't have one in good condition. I have good glass, just need a good housing.

    glow plug relay

Here's a suggestion just in case you're out in the boonies and your ECU changes it's mind on heating the glow plugs. Carry with you a length of heavy duty wire (16 gauge or larger) that you can use to jump from the Positive/+ side of your batteries and the glow plug rail. hold it connected for...

How many Delicas in the US? & Where are there Delica Mechanics in the US? See Map

@sk66 thanks for the map. First time I've seen it. Great resource when traveling.

    Non-Smoking Ashtray Shit Holder

The thermocouple and gauge came in a kit from @Empty42. I made the face plate from a piece of printed circuit board cut to fit the opening. The PC board has a copper foil on the back - easy to solder mounting tabs to the back to hold it in place.

    Bigger turbos??

An issue we have to face: These slow poke vans are designed to do the speed limit. We're driving JDM vehicles. From Wikipedia: Statutory speed limit in Japan defaults to 100 km/h (62 mph) for divided national highways and 60 km/h (37 mph) for any other roads, unless otherwise posted.[1] The...

    Body Shop in PNW

With my experience so far, I wish you good luck. Most body shops seem to be exclusive to collision/insurance repairs. If you mention the word "rust", they will escort you to the door. Your best bet might be going to a local auto parts store, run by someone who's been in business for some years...

    Help needed: electric boogaloo

I've had the same problem for three weeks. Large circuit drain - dual batteries flat overnight. Still haven't found the source of the power drain. Both batteries tested at 800CA. Alternator charging at 15.5 volts. If I disconnect the fusible link wire for the "Light"circuit @ the fusible link...

    Durabak Roll-On Truckbed Liner

A bedliner coat is definitely the most practical and cost effective. It's made to take a beating - it's not a show car. Keeping it looking clean is important and I think a good carwash brush should work fine. Someone mentioned concerns about moss. Living on the Oregon coast all the vehicles turn...
