    Question on D4BF Swap

I would remove the spacer, and use your old (shorter) banjo bolt. I bet when you get it apart you'll find the spacer is just a spacer.

    Question on D4BF Swap

Oh that's frustrating. It looks like the fuel inlet is the problem, it sits much higher than the one on the old IP. Would rotating the fuel line forwards give you more room? Can you use the fuel line from your old IP?

    L300 door weather stripping

If you're trying to fix wet carpets/interior moisture check out this post, which covers the usual places water gets in: https://delicaforum.com/index.php?threads/wet-front-carpets-footwell-leaks.713/ The door seals aren't a common place for water to get in. The way the door is designed means...

    Question on D4BF Swap

Can you share photos of the mounting points on the new and old IPs? The height difference makes sense, but I've not seen an IP with the mounting holes further back (or forward). You might need to hammer the bracket flat (remove that upwards kink) and drill new holes.

    Starting issues

It certainly does sound like failed glow plugs. The most reliable test is to remove them, inspect them, and bench test them (power them using jumper leads and a battery). If any have failed it's a good idea to replace them all. If you have the 6v plugs (will say 6v, maybe 6.2v somewhere on...

L400 2.8L A/T Low Power on Takeoff (kick down cable? TPS?)

I think you mean you get 6.5 kilometers per litre, which is 15.3 litres per 100km. That's a little high, and could be due to the bad TPS. I would also do some basic maintenance: new air filter, oil and filter change, check the exhaust is in good condition (not restricted).

Weird intermittent electronic buzzing sound coming from dash

It sounds like a bad ground at the stereo to me. As a diagnostic step, find a piece of wire and run it from the battery negative directly to the stereo's chassis. If that fixes or changes the problem, then it's time to check the stereo's wiring and clean the dashboard earth points (check the...

    Help with VIN of L300

Older models were made for various markets (see: indonesia). I suspect facelift changes might have required re-certification in some markets, and it was easier to just make the older/pre-facelift model. Or maybe it was just cheaper overall, allowing them to sell a van for a bargain price on the...

L400 2.8L A/T Low Power on Takeoff (kick down cable? TPS?)

It sounds like the TPS sensor is malfunctioning. One terminal should be 0v, one should be 5V, and the third terminal should change voltage as the TPS turns.

    92 starwagon won't start

Disconnect, inspect, and clean every fusible link and connector in the battery compartment. They corrode with time and make bad connections. Pay particular attention to the starter solenoid signal wire, that's the one that goes to your starter. See also...

Tailights, and dash lights out, relay?

Yup, it's common for the the headlamp stalk/switch to fail. A new switch is often the best fix, but they can be repaired which can sometimes give them a little more life: https://delicaforum.com/index.php?threads/combination-headlamp-switch-repair.7261/

    Any recommendations on 3D printer?

...with the exception of PETG, which can bond to a clean ceramic-coated (black) glass print bed and rip chunks out of it, even after waiting for it to cool completely. And then once the glass is damaged you'll find you have no choice but to upgrade to a Fulament magnetic bed with 240v heater and...

AC cold in rear but warm up front

A quick check is to move the temperature lever quickly from hot to cold and back: you should hear the valve making a "flumph" noise and feel resistance on the lever. Another quick test is to run the AC and feel the temperature of the pipes where they run from the floor to the condenser: on the...

    Transmission gone

I can't help with a gearbox shop in Alberta, but there's a bunch of links and rebuild tips in this FAQ thread: https://delicaforum.com/index.php?threads/5-speed-gearbox-rebuild-strengthening-tips-wip.2750/

    Any recommendations on 3D printer?

I use Blender, but it's made for animation (I'm an animator so I already know my way around Maya, and Blender is very similar but free). If I wasn't so set in my ways I'd learn FreeCAD. Fusion360 is the most common/standard parametric modelling software, but it's subscription only and doesn't...
