Can anyone tell me if the valves and pistons conflict following a timing chain failure??,l have been offered a space gear that has had the timing chain fail and now will not start,my concern is that there is damage to the valves/pistons following the timing chain break apparently the engine...

Just wondering if anyone knows of/can recommend a suitable oil pressure gauge kit for the L400??,prefferably an electronic type,as l would preffer not having a pipe full of pressurised oil inside my truck!!

thanks for the info guys....as you say dust angel,my first thoughts about the valve are that it is faulty,however,sk66 says its a two way vapour valve??,could you expand on that??,also,not sure what an"ip"seal is??.....l do suspect that l could have an air leak somewhere,but it cant be much more...
