    just change your brake fluid every year and you're golden....my 32 year old brakes work fine.

    diesels like to have the snot rung out of them, they need to get hot to decarbon the rings, if you are running stock boost and drive her easy she will not like it.

    Indeed, new belts will stretch somewhat but also sink further in the pulleys as the belt compresses

    i fired up my pajero ( 4d56t) and it ran fine after sitting 9 years with the old fuel...never ever seen this issue with Canadian fuel

    the boost pressure is only allowed through at the pressure set by the regulator, ie. the checkball, it will bleed of under a no or very low boost condition due to the internal spring in the wastegate itself acting on the diaphragm as none of these boost controller types create a perfect seal

    i may have a ver 6 for sale in the not to distant future, ver6 sti ra v limited. its mint, imported it myself as soon as it was legal to canada and its never seen rain or snow.

    the spring and ball just delays the flow to the wastegate until the boost pressure overcomes the spring pressure, if you had a cutaway you would see it fluttering

    wave plate give a softer clutch engagement while the flat friction plates give a firmer engagement, depends on what you want. building th400's we always used flat if we were looking to hold more torque
