When i purchased my l300 from delica usa they had another l300 with dual sliders, I asked, and was informed that it was European model and for some reason dual sliders also meant no A/C

Can you hear the fuel shut off solenoid open/click when you turn the key to the run position, i was having cold start issues for a while and turned out to be the fuel pump wiring harness dying a slow death due to old cracked insulation

Also waiting on the arrival of new window channels and door seals from megazip to combat the whistling wind at highway speed, and a new valve cover gasket so i can do a valve adjustment, i just don't trust the old gasket coming out in one piece

This weekend i replaced the fuel pump wiring harness (MD155273) as the old had the insulation go which resulted in a short that burned out the wires for the tach and all but two threads of copper for the fuel shut off solenoid, idle seems a fair bit smoother and cold starts a bit less...

Being west of me i never really thought of Harrisburg as eastern pa, had to double check the map to realize it's not that far away

This past Saturday got together with a friend and ripped off the front of the engine, delicately of course, and replaced the harmonic balancer and timing belt and threw in a new thermostat, found the cage around the old one was broken, it always ran cold and I just assumed that was diesel life...

Where in Eastern pa? If you don't mind me asking, I'm in 19464

I don't get any GAS mileage, I do average @ 18-20 mpg depending on the life of the oil in the engine and how hard ive pushed it, but I'm interested to see if there is any improvement since i put in a new timing belt and thermostat this past Saturday
