1990 Delica Super Exceed Crystal lite Roof, Automatic 4D56 Cincinnati $8900 SOLD

I’m looking to let go of my Delica. I picked it up from Glen and the fellas at Coombs Country Autos on Vancouver Island a couple years back. It was a replacement for my ‘68 VW, due to the fact that I needed a cross country vehicle for a while. It is registered and resides in Newport, Kentucky...

Strange noises from beneath! 1991 L300 Opinions/knowledge please.

Mines an automatic. Cruises along happily 2750-3000 rpm, 60-70mph with fairly meaty General Grabber AT's

Cruises along very nicely actually. I get better mileage at 55 though. In the mountains, as it slows down or heats up, whichever comes first, I turn off the overdrive and keep it at 2750-3000 rpm, 30-40 mph.

Around town I get 19-20 mpg. On the road I get 20-21 mpg at 65-70 miles per hour.

Hi Fellow Delica owners! I join you with a recently purchased Delica LD300. I’m hoping to find resources and advice on simple camper conversion.

You want simple? We have an L300 with the center captain’s chairs. Removed the rear bench, put in 4-6 milk crates and cut two baltic birch pieces with handle cut outs that fit the width of the space for on top of the crates. Pipe insulation pads the platform and keeps things fron sliding. We...

    Climbing Hills in Denver Colorado

The advice I got was to drive it like my ‘68 VW bus. Turned out to be the best advice ever. On the inclines, I keep it at around 2750-3000 rpms, and watch the temperature guage. If it will not keep those revs or startes heating up too much, first off is the overdrive, next it goes into a lower...

Strange noises from beneath! 1991 L300 Opinions/knowledge please.

Eizo at Apex is the man! Not inexpensive, but not dealer prices either. Went beyond the exhaust manifold gasket replacement that I requested to properly complete the job. He encouraged/demanded that I also order new stud bolts, oil return hose (which turned out to be in the process of...

    Delica Repair in Southern California?

Ended up in Seattle and headed into Apex Auto Service in Burien. Eizo, the owner was excellent. Where most mechanics would unbolt the exhaust manifold, put on the new gasket, bolt it back up and call it good, Eizo basically demanded that we replace not only the gasket, but the stud bolts, oil...

    Wet floor fix...

We used to live aboard. 3M makes a marine sealant/adhesive that should outlive the vehicle. 4200 if you ever want to remove it, 5200 if you never, ever want to get it apart. Gnarly high quality stuff.
