    Transmission gone

Sounds like a lemon to me, maybe look into just giving it back?

    Venting the Cabin of Moisture

I don't know your situation or where you live (both important factors) but for myself living in my L300 full time a combination of keeping the front windows cracked at night and not keeping closed up constantly is plenty to keep the inside of the van comfortable and not a swamp. Having rain...

Can 4D56TD cylinders be honed in situ?

Are you using the stock gauge to decide if it's overheating or an aftermarket one? I only ask because the oem ones can false readings and it isn't in the realm of impossible since you've had blown headgaskets before. Again just trying to cover all the bases.

    4D56 VGT Turbo

After looking over their website they atleast seem quite knowledgable. I wasn't able to find any reviews on them as a company though. I am tempted to just order one and see...

Can 4D56TD cylinders be honed in situ?

Just a few thoughts, the head can definitely be machined. There of course a limit to how much can be removed and the service manual has specs for that, but you also don't know yet whether it needs it. It's all speculation until you tear it down and start measuring and inspecting things. I...

Can 4D56TD cylinders be honed in situ?

Another thought, it is possible to have cracks between the cylinders on the block. Atleast on the g54b it tended to happen from an overheating incident coupled with someone just slapping a new headgasket on and sending it. It was believed it had to do with surface etching and heat after that...

Can 4D56TD cylinders be honed in situ?

First and foremost I want to make sure you know that I'm not asking questions to imply you don't know what your doing (ex. replacing headstuds). This is just a complex subject and asking means we all get closer to understanding the facts centered around your problem. It sounds like you know...

Can 4D56TD cylinders be honed in situ?

That is a lot of info to take in. To keep on topic and answer your question... yes... kinda. You can certainly remove glazing with a quick hand honing but I feel like you may be a bit over optimistic about solving your problem. Don't get me wrong, I don't have all the details but based on what...

Anyone know where to get the rear brake adjusters?

Yep, definitely a reputable source. As for price, sometimes it just is what it is.

What things do you wish you thought about before you started your interior build?

I feel like the question of cooking location really comes down to a ton of different factors. What do you cook, how and when you use your van, what type of cooking fuel do you use, where do you have space, and like @DeliKit talks about, what kind of experience feels best. If you fry things like...

    Delicas in MN

Dang, yea my buddy up in Duluth was saying they have had very little snow and warm temps too. I tend to swing back towards WI / MN around mid April but I still have a lot of places I want to explore out here right now. How have you and your delica been @moonpost? I met you at the All Mitsu...
