Ended up cutting a groove into the solenoid as specified here: http://www.delica.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?f=95&t=17802 and I now have O/D again- just in case anyone runs into a similar issue. If you do this you won't be able to turn the O/D off with the switch.
Also wanted to say that my issue...
Nice, loved working with JDM Sport Classics in Three Rivers, MI- no financial issues or anything almost two years in. I moved back out to the West Coast so y'all won't be seeing my van around but its awesome there are more in Michigan!
Yo! Sweet van. I moved out to WA to work for the state and so lived in Oly for a bit. You may see me down in burfoot or at the food trucks some time! Currently in Tacoma.
Ouch. I just called the mechanic yesterday about getting a kill switch installed. Looks like I’ll want to get going on it.
I’ll keep my eyes peeled up north- good luck.
My passenger side brush guard is bent towards the vehicle a bit. I'm guessing from a collision some time in the vans past. I don't mind too much but it makes changing the bulb virtually impossible.
My question: Can you bend the bar back or would that be risking an expensive mistake?
