Tailights, and dash lights out, relay?

Mine is also intermittent. Did you ever figure out the issue?

    Brake upgrade

Excited to hear the results. Unfortunately this would be an expensive shipment to US. Maybe I can find the rotors in S America! I used to love stoppies, but can’t say I’ve ever done off a moto. When you swapped you MC what did you use? How much modifications? Mine is still going strong, but good...

Using Hyundai D4BF water pump on a 4D56 motor

The Hyundai water pump worked great. I’m not sure if these pumps are available in N America, but this could be a substitute for a cheaper, but still OEM pump. Pump # 25100 4200 Water pump gasket # 26124 42060 Therm gasket # 25126 42060 O-ring wasn’t available so I don’t know the #. Thanks to...

    Cold weather insulation

We used an Espar diesel heater in ours. It’s nice to use only one fuel source. It preheats our engine to help with cold start/high attitude starts, heats our water for showers, and cab heater. It’s an expensive set up, pretty complex install but unfortunately has been a bit unreliable for us...

Using Hyundai D4BF water pump on a 4D56 motor

Any of you legends have firsthand experience fitting the Hyundai water pump on your Delica? When cross referencing aftermarket Hyundai pumps they show fitment for the 4D56 moto and vise versa. Trying to figure out as much beta as possible before going for it. Thanks!

    Cold weather insulation

We used 3M car insulation (what’s used in most modern whips) and the stuff is pretty damn impressive. Also pretty damn expensive, but sometimes you get what you pay for. It’s very easy to work with as well. It has a batting on one side and the other side is a fluffy like cotton looking material...

    Wastegate actuator pin snapped

Thanks for the thoughts. I should have been more specific. The oil is leaking out of the point where the wastegate arm attaches to the turbo. We’ll do more digging and post back when we have more answers.

    Wastegate actuator pin snapped

We recently saw oil leaking from this spot? Any thoughts on what could cause leaking here?

    Head gasket

Ahh. Bummer! We had our temp gauge changed a year ago before the trip. Big Bear is a beast to get up to. We drove there from the north east side and I remember it was 20-25kms the whole way in 1st and 2nd. We’re still trying to figure out what’s going on with ours. It just started a...

    Head gasket

Any luck on your diagnosis? We’re having similar white smoke issues. No overheating, normal oil, no bubbling in radiator coolant, radiator hoses are normal etc. Just started a couple days ago.

    Brake upgrade

Also, something I forgot to mention. With all the threads I've found of doing the upgrade no mentions pre setting the bearing like stated in the Mitsu service manual. Torque to 130lbs back off to zero then to 18lbs. Then back off no more than 20 degree ( if me brain remembers properly) to match...

    Brake upgrade

I never thanked you all for your comments and wanted to you all to know they were not made in vain lol. Ive since been in 3 different countries and lots of travel, not enough chill. After reading these posts and having some correspondence with others that have done the swap I decided to move...
