I'll play with the adjustments. I don't want to delay the shift. It tends to shift too high as it is. I guess the answer to my question of "is this normal" is no, it's not normal.

Doing a swap soon. Someone at Rising Sun told me that you need to change the oil filter housing bracket. I didn't see that in Growler's guide. Does anyone know if this is true?

I'm facing this issue and found this thread. Are you saying that the rusty metal plate in my attached pic is the same as #14 aka stopper plate in the attached diagram from the manual? And that this part can not be purchased and can just be ground off?

Anyone know where to get one of these bad boys? Everywhere I look says discontinued. Mine snaped off where it goes to the AC kickdown valve. Do I need it? Can I just bypass? Part #MD607439
