Had a bit of an emergency slow down the other day and I was surprised how bad the brakes actually work to slow this van. Is there any easy way to increase braking action? Pads are likely old so I could replace them but I kinda doubt that will make much improvement

Got the pump off today, and the gear off. But how to replace seal now? I don’t see a way without full tear down of pump, but was under the impression that I could be done easily once gear is off.

Looking at roof rack options and rather not use rain gutters.

little heat and some prayers and I got the boost pop valve off! Replaced with plug. Test drove and don’t hear the chuffing sound of popping off, but curiously I’m also not making any more boost. Gets to about 10 and that’s it despite high egt. My search continues.
