    Massive Coolant Blow Out... HELP!

Just throwing this out there but I had the heater pipe O-ring break and blow out from the water pump which caused me to lose most of my coolant one day. If this happens to be your issue I found easiest way to repair is to unbolt the hard line from the engine block and move it away from the...

    Wet floor fix...

I wanted to add this to the plethora of areas that water can get in. The holes on this front panel open into the cab. It seems like the 5 plastic insertion tabs originally had a small gasket. Mine only had one left so I applied a bit of gasket maker to each tab.

Air escaping or getting into IP via main seal

Hey all, since I have the IP exposed I figured I should ask this question. If I apply slight pressure with my finger to the IP front shaft I can hear air trying to escape or enter from the seal area. I first noticed this when I did my timing belt putting pressure on the sprocket to adjust the...

L300 another mystery oil leak on left side.

surprisingly enjoyable, although the tedious belt reattachment is gonna be a bit sucky I think.

L300 another mystery oil leak on left side.

Hey Steven for sure but that area is dry so I've narrowed it out, after taking out the AC compressor mount I've pretty much determined that its the front upper case gasket.

L300 another mystery oil leak on left side.

Another pic after I took off the belts and front covers. You can see the mess in the bottom right. The empty holes are for the AC tensioner bracket. Orange permatex from a prior owner is surrounding the entire oil pan. The front shaft seals are dry so I can narrow that out. I'm also not...

L300 another mystery oil leak on left side.

So much work on my new van, belts, front oil seals and it repays me with a nice oil leak. Leaving several drops after I park running down the left bar next to the oil pan. Remind me why I got another L300? :) It seems to be dripping down from the AC compressor. I park on a slight incline...

    Front heater blower works intermittently

I'd say could be all the above, my heater would lose power intermittently as well. It ended up being the 20Amp fuse shorting out from water getting into the cab from the front cheeks. A notoriously wet part of the van. I know my heater isn't blowing at full burst either even at highest fan...

    Sway Bar Bushings

Hey I have these and they don't fit. I've tried them on both my 89' L300's and after swapping the bushing into your original holder it ends up being too loose. https://www.energysuspensionparts.com/9.5130

Idle speed changes vastly in gear vs. out of gear.

I had/have this same issue and I made a thread on the Delica.ca website in 2019. Steven and Grant chimed in and here were there thoughts: Steven: AC turned on? Grant: "When it's doing this, open the engine cover and check that the throttle lever is resting on the idle speed screw like it...

Help! Tipped over, looking for a body shop Seattle

Scary situation, glad you guys are alright. Seeing that the roof is already bubbling with rust on top its going to be even worse inside (I'm dealing with crystal lite roof rust and its a nightmare of corrosion once you remove the headliner) If I was in your shoes I would chop the top and put a...

This ended up being my drive shaft U-Joint and I definitely know how a bad one feels now. New u joints in and van accelerates so smoothly.

    State inspection problem

If your brake fluid is low the E brake light will remain on as well. If the fluid is topped up its probably the small press switch that the e brake lever sits on to disengage the light. It might be gunked up and need a cleaning. Could also be a loose connector that runs underneath the carpet...
