OK, interesting. So the initial 12v relay closing should be happening for some period even with the "wrong" 6V plugs. As I mentioned that operation stopped entirely after swapping from the 11v to the 6v so I attributed it to that. However coincident can be coincidence not causal, argh! So...

Got it, makes sense and thank you for the reply and moving the thread. In terms of the controller itself; is it semi-working with the 11v plugs an indicator that it is functional? Do the 11v plugs have a lower initial resistance more similar to that of the factory 6v, such that it makes sense...
