A word of warning from a fellow Canadian. Don't ship via UPS. Their brokerage fees are criminal. USPS to Canada Post is the least expensive in my experience.

Couldn't climb a trail (dry creek?) a few weeks ago that wasn't a challenge for any other rig passing by. Arg! My 89 doesn't have LSD and I've been searching the Forum but I can't find much on a rear lockers. Has anyone here installed them? Thanks.

@Growlerbearnz The 'service' was changing the oil, which I doubted could cause a problem, but I wondered if something could've been knocked. I have time so I'll look into the items you mentioned above. Are they reasonably easy to find?

@CodyHennigan, that gave me a laugh! My horn used to blast on its own. A solid smack on the steering would stop it. Not a good long-term solution :rolleyes:

I had my transfer case serviced a few months ago. H4 works fine but didn't have a need for L4, until last weekend. I discovered the shifter wouldn't move into L4. Brought it back in, the guys checked linkage, etc. That was fine so they said I need a new transfer case. Before I go that route...

Finally built a centre console. Room for 2 full size cups, 2 USB ports, battery and EGT guages, and 2 switches. Note the big speakers. Those stock size 4" ones just don't cut it. Made it out of 1/2" MDF, bondo-ed the seams and sprayed with 2 coats of spray rocker guard. Pretty happy with it.

That looks great. I've been thinking of getting a 3D printed replacement, but I still have the original guages and rarely look at them. You've inspired me.
