I had my transfer case serviced a few months ago. H4 works fine but didn't have a need for L4, until last weekend. I discovered the shifter wouldn't move into L4. Brought it back in, the guys checked linkage, etc. That was fine so they said I need a new transfer case. Before I go that route...

Both Monroe MA 708 air shocks broke this weekend. Top pins sheared off. I'd left about 2mm space between the frame as @Growlerbearnz suggested. It was definitely tight. Just over 1 year old. Pretty bouncy for about 20 km on a forest service road! Do I try them again or is there other/better options?

I was doing some height measurements after I installed the new Monroes. 40 psi in the shocks, 32 psi in both rear tires but there is a 1 inch difference in height between left (33.25" ground to wheel well) and right (34.25) (same 1" difference if I measure from the hubs). I had asked this...

I hear so many recommendations for this shock but it has the wrong mount. Or did they mis-ship?? There's no number on the shock.

Anyone care to offer an opinion on wheel spacers? I've kept my 89 L300 completely stock (no lifts, same tire size, etc) and it's great for overlanding I do. But I wonder if putting 1 1/2" spacers would give the van a more solid feeling 'stance', as in less tippy both on road and off. Thoughts...
