SOLD - 1993 Mitsubishi Delica L300 Chamonix Diesel 5MT 126k KM, Seattle WA

Sadly up for sale is my beloved 1993 Chamonix. I'm very sad to let it go but a move forces sale and it's time for me to see her on to a new owner who will love her as much as I have. Asking $16,900. I spent nearly a year searching for the perfect Delica -- in great shape, with low mileage...

    Part Number Thread for L300

@delicadenny I got those two hoses off of eBay from Amayama,. Shipping was a little ridiculous ($30 for a $13 part) but I needed them pronto and this was the best option I could find. In general I find a lot of hits on the original Mitsubishi part numbers listed in the parts catalog...

Add yourself and/or your Mechanics to the Delica Map.

Cool! :-) Where can I find the Edit button in step 2, though? I'm signed in but don't see one.

    Another Seattle Van

So many Delis in this town! ;) This was on Airport road a few blocks north of where Sodo Moto used to be. Shot a wave back and forth to two guys standing in the parking lot.

    Washington Mechanics Thread

Wow, that's unfortunate. Eizo is really great. He's had other JDM cars in his shop when I've got there in the past -- I wonder if he still services those? Does anyone happen to know why he stopped? I appreciate any suggestions for Seattle mechanics who are interested and able on Delicas. The...

    Another Seattle Van

Saw somebody yesterday with a light-blue Delica in SODO. Anybody here? I've got a dark blue low-roof in the CD but park underground and am only in town sporadically. Am always down to meet up ... big variable is whether I'm in town

    92 Chamonix Delica blank keys.

I took mine to my locksmith and they matched it to a Dodge Colt blank, which I think may not be identical but it's the same size in all the places that count. Copies work perfectly.

    Sacramento Area shops???

I had the same issue in Seattle. I just asked everyone who turned me away if they knew anyone who ran a small shop who would do it. Only took two tries to get a recommendation for a guy who took the job. Just keep working it until you get an answer.

    Mechanic in Western Washington?

Eizo at Apex Auto in Burien, WA. He's extremely detail-oriented and GREAT to work with. He doesn't order parts so is perfect that you will be bringing your own.

    NEW Denso AC Compressors **UPDATE**

I ordered a MR175655 replacement on eBay from a factory in China for $285 all-up (item, shipping, tax). It took about two weeks to arrive. Here's the link for this particular item: https://www.ebay.com/itm/232855395947 It fit my P25W without issues. I was not able to find ANY Denso's for any...

1987 Mitsubishi Wagon and Nissan Van comparo

So weird to see an L300 in LHD! Interesting you could get the Nissan with a manual transmission. I didn't even remember them being sold in the US.

    Rear Hatch Strut Options

Oh, and take a photo or remember how they bolted on BEFORE you take both off. The labeling on the brackets is indeed backwards if you install them in the same direction as the originals. (I happened to flip the brackets over, which required swapping the sides, so they do in fact match now.)

    Rear Hatch Strut Options

I don't have a ladder but I think I got the same struts as shown above (it's been a while since I ordered them) and they're far more powerful than the worn-out ones that were on the van. I think they would carry a ladder.

EPC-Data and spec number date range - Glow Plug Disaster

That seems to be correct. The plugs on the left look similar to MD197511/CY57s -- you can see two sets on this post: http://delicaforum.com/index.php?threads/which-glow-plug-system-is-this.1042/#post-7965 (in that post, left: CY57, right: MD197511 I believe). The section marked "this length...

    Front convex mirror and arm

Exactly the same situation. Would love to find a new cap for the end of the mirror arm. (Or @lookinsidetheboxnyc maybe one of us could come up with something ingenious ;-)
