    Battery Change Out

When I replaced my dual battery setup I went with 2 Optima Red Tops (https://a.co/d/bZP4Ywl) and haven’t looked back since. They work fantastic for cold starts and the combine CCA (Cold Cranking Amps) you get from 2 of those puppies are pretty great. Here are a few pics of my setup. You will...

    L400 alignment specs

We actually used a circular drill bit (like this one: https://a.co/d/fFf2ZDM) and drilled out most of the bushing while it was in a vice. Then once enough space was free we used a metal sawzall to get as close to the edge of the A-Arm as possible then we used a chisel to hammer out the rest. It...

    Freon leak? Rear climate control.

If you can't see fluid in the Drier when you are charging up the system pry a good time to replace. I did not replace mine as it was only leaking on that backside and needed a recharge. As far as o-ring size, I originally took out the one that was in there and tried to match it the best I...

    Freon leak? Rear climate control.

Sadly still leaking after trying 5 different o-rings and spending too much on Freon to fill it up each time. The fitting is quite an odd fitting because there’s only pressure on one side to hold the O-ring that’s on the opposite side so really the pressure leak comes from the area where there is...

    L400 alignment specs

Here is how it all shaped out today. Took the above alignment values (initial post image with revised values from @sk66 ) and they used that as a reference point for the alignment. Here is an image on my final values if anyone needs a reference for 95’ L400. Drives great, no issues so far.

    L400 alignment specs

Well shoot...I guess I will just have to use what the values are above and hope that is what is needed. Than you @ShelbyD for looking into it. Do let me know if you have the sheet still lying around, that would be greatly appreciated.

    L400 alignment specs

So if I take this, translated version to an alignment shop, they’ll know the specs from this? @sk66 I’m getting new tires for my 1995 L400 2.8 L TD. I’ve installed all new front suspension components, swaybar end links, contro arm, bushings, ball joints, etc. so just wanna make sure these are...

Is DelicaUSA a reliable source for suggesting alternative parts?

These are the Oil filter I buy for my 95’ 2.8L TD. WIX 51675 https://a.co/d/5gQEpXn Never had a problem with them and they are large enough that you would only need to change them every other oil change.

    Road Trip Fluid Kit

I guess it depends on where your journey is taking you in your Delica? Warmer climate? Colder climate?

    Brake Fluid Volume

Sounds good to me. Except you said: “Tell kid to let off the gas.” Hopefully you mean the brake pedal there or dads getting run over. I did mine without the van running, but up to you. I cannot remember which lines are farthest from the brake master cylinder but start with the farthest one...

    Brake Fluid Volume

In all reality here too if you are asking to "top off" then you pry have an issue in one of the lines anyway with a possible slow leak or something. It would be a great time to change out those old rubber break lines for the new stainless steel lines that B-Line performance makes...

    Brake Fluid Volume

I would recommend doing a complete flush. It’s not difficult just get a buddy over to help bleed them when you refill it back up so you don’t have to get a 1 man brake bleeding kit.

Sagging rear suspension post bumper install

I just used the tubing that came with the kit. The only think I added was a T for the air to be together into one fill line, as mentioned above I need to reverse that after reading more about not making air go between the two (i.e. rolling more air from one side to another when you have a T...

Sagging rear suspension post bumper install

I have had mine in my 95'Delica L400 for 1.5 years and they have worked great! I have a rear bumper install plus I occasionally haul a trailer with ATV behind the Delica and they have held up to that, I travel on rockey terrain off roading mostly here in Colorado. So I would say overall I am...

    L400 Radiator flush

I recently replaced my radiator with better aluminum core one as well as replaced the water pump, alternator and belts and when I flushed the old radiator out you just drain it down the block. You can take the time too to do a flush on your heater cores too (front and rear) they tend to get...
