    Series 1 L400 Flasher-Indicator Relay.

My Problem: Left hazard lights on for 10 minutes, came back, lights off, no "blinking sound" being sent out from engaged hazard button still on. Turned key, left and right indicator/turn signal lights also not working. The left/right dashboard green indicator arrow-lights just below the...

Sagging rear suspension post bumper install

Good eye! Most important difference seems to be the "bump stops" that go below/above the airbag. One kit has those metal clamps but you can pick those up anywhere. I think I'll try the 61792 kit as if looks visually like the bump stops are beefier.

Sagging rear suspension post bumper install

Phoned Air Lift and confirmed the dimensions on both Air Lift 1000 sub-models I've noted Delica owners and Canada and US forums have installed are the SAME! Air Lift 61792: 4.9" by 10" Air Lift 60769: 4.9" by 10" So both work clearly since many have installed either one...

    Delica L400 Shock Information

Mardy at Amazing Auto in Richmond, BC (Canada) one of the original North American Delica importers really reccomends the KYB SR Special Heavy Duty shocks. I'm going to give them a go since they are really hard to get a hold of and he's got a set. Manufactured in Japan. L400. Let you know how it...

    Air Conditioning Issues

A/C rebirth drama almost complete. Here is what the LHD front evaporator I ordered from the US looks like next to a stock RHD L400 Evaporator (MR168024 not manufactured anymore and no aftermarket source). I ended up ordering the Four Seasons (largest aftermarket A/C parts supplier in the US)...

This is...

    Air Conditioning Issues

Bringing this thread together. It seems like there is at least ONE Expansion valve in the front which is MR168024 which attaches to the front evaporator. What I thought I heard Amazing Auto and my Mechanic say was there was another more accessible expansion valve you access "behind the...

    Air Conditioning Issues

So I don't think it is too hard to pull the whole evaporator unit out to at least change the expansion valve in the front evaporator unit? Below is a picture of the entire front evaporator unit you can see through the glovebox. Mine is a L400 PD8W and OEM parts number for the entire unit is...

    Air Conditioning Issues

All right! Courtesy of Delica.ca, I found this Japanese blog post from 2012 of a person finding, taking apart and replacting their Front A/C Evaporator. Kellyn - it looks like you don't have to cut through anything to access it! Would be nice if I can find a complete replacement evaporator but...

    Air Conditioning Issues

So here is where I am at. Picture attached is from ebay but is apparently a rear view of the front L400 A/C condensor. According to Mardy at Amazing Auto in Vancouver the circled part is the expansion valve in question that could be a source of problem for most. I think it is hard to find a...

Kellyn and I are working on the same issue. READ THESE PARAGRAPHS BELOW IF YOU ARE ATTEMPTING A/C UPGRADES ON AN L400. Intel from the Philippines, via Vancouver, BC Amazing Auto via me!
