    I've had my L300 diesel for a few winters in Canada now. I find down to 14F I don't need to do anything different except maybe heat the glow plugs twice before turning over.     Turbo trouble??

    Thanks for the confirmation, as soon as I saw it I was sure it was done. Time to try find a replacement. I do appreciate the advice on the air filter/intake, I have been pretty good at changing it with standard filters, but I'll inspect for a split hose or other causes.

    On a recent trip down across the border into Montana (thanks for allowing Canadians!) the van seemed to struggle extra hard on some hills. 93 Diesel Exceed. MPG hasn't gotten noticeably worse and on flat roads still cruises along at 100kpm as happily as ever, but hills I used to climb at 80kph...

    What Did You Do for Your Van Today?

    Finally got around to replacing the muffler after 2 years of embarrassing rattles and smelly interior, she almost purrs now. Of course the next day some idiot reversed into my parked van and cracked my spot lights!
