1980 Suzuki Jimny

Bought it the same weekend I bought my Delica. Long story short, I thought the Delica deal was a no-go, so I headed to Seattle and frivolously bought a toy vehicle I absolutely didn't need. Always wanted to own a 2-stroke vehicle.

1980 Suzuki Jimny (SJ10V)



The engine is a 539cc, 3 cylinder, 2-stroke. Tank at the top-right is for the oil. It auto-mixes. I think it had 33 HP when new.

4 wheel drive, high and low. Goes about 50 MPH in 2-wheel high. Any head wind or incline slows the vehicle down quite a bit.

I've got a similar one. Lots of fun and surprisingly very capable.

The only annoyance I had was the 2 stroke.,

Dude that's awesome!!! I have a '92 Samurai myself. But that 80 looks so sweet. I bet you can swap in a 3cyl turbo that came out just a few short years later for it. Those 3cyl turbos are pretty cool and will get you to 65 mph fairly quick.
