1993 Mitsubishi Delica L300 exceed - 58,000 miles price drop SOLD

1993 Mitsubishi L300 exceed
92500 km
~58000k miles
$17500 price adjustment
Pennsylvania inspected in July
I do not want a trade plus money. I don’t need another vehicle.

I really have not made any real effort in selling my Delica through the summer and it has been getting driven and drives excellent, so it hasn’t just been sitting around. I have avoided my health decline though and need to get serious for selling.

Regretfully, I’m offering up my Delica. My main reason for selling is, health. That’s my only reason. I’m the only one that drives the vehicle in our household and due to health reasons, I may not be able to drive at all in a short(er) time.

EGR delete
Glow shift three in one gauge. It monitors
Exhaust temp, turbo boost, coolant temp
-Glowshift Sensor in place for turbo boost but presently has a separate boost gauge hooked up. Present boost works extremely well, and is a very simplistic one. Only reason the glowshift one’s not hooked up is because whenever it was originally shipped, there was a faulty part, and I was waiting for glowshit to replace and hooked up an additional one in the meantime, and I never bothered to switch it over because the other one works fine.

The following items have less than 1000 miles on them.
New alignment
New upper and lower ball joints
New bilstein front shocks
New forceum MT-08 235/75r15 tires x 4
Spare wheel is the exact same and there’s
two additional spare tires included too
New sway bar bushings
New inclinometer

Additional items have less than 5k on them (if that)
Snorkel
Long Roof basket
Roof rack x 3 rail system
KC roof mounted spot lights
Rear facing roof lights (2 spot, 2 flood). They operate on two separate switches. These work fantastic for setting up camp, backing up, and multiple other purposes that I never thought I’d use them for.
Sky Ridge body armor side awning with mosquito net that mounts to the roof rack.
New modern Dual wi-fi, Bluetooth radio
Front lower spot lights
Back up camera
You’ll note an additional camera in back…for me to watch my dog area.

Xplormor outdoor Three hitch rear bumper
Xplormor outdoor side roof ladder
300w inverter available for back area
Includes third row seating
New custom-made curtains for all windows.
Currently has inverter already built into the back as well.
Runs well, shifts well, 4wd and everything purrs along with no hiccups and I’ve had no problems other than a front ball joint that wore a tire and it got replaced recently along with all new front end and alignment. No fluid puddles or oil leaks. (unless you count the Exxon Valdez spill I did in the driveway when changing my oil once. 8 quarts?) There is no rust anywhere on the frame or on the body. There’s some surface rust on the push bar and lower front bumper area which I have repaired this summer. I have the two additional push bar steps that fit in front of the front wheels that are included.

Known issues. I replaced the master brake cylinder, and there was a hole prior in the usual area where the Delica‘s get rust due to the master brake cylinder leaking. That area was a ”quick repair” by a prior person. I note absolutely no water leaking in that area, but it is one area that I did want to look at from the outside to make sure that it was repaired properly.

The air conditioning is R12 and need a recharged and I never switched it over to 134a.

I’m sure there’s additional items that I’ve added that I’m forgetting. As I mentioned, I’m only selling due to health reasons. I have a short wife and daughter, and neither one can drive and doesn’t want to attempt to drive a right wheel drive manual shift Delica.

Additional pictures available upon request.
I set up an album with pictures also. Please note in the pictures of the engine bay. There are some markings that say when the air filters were replaced, etc. None of that is current. Oil and filter have been changed every 3000 miles. Air filter has been changed several times. Regular maintenance has been done and my mechanics are very experienced with imported vehicles.

What I won’t do. Coat the underside with black undercoating because there’s nothing to really hide. This is solid and I have gotten a good deal of interest but man…people want to trade. I don’t want a f’ing jeep! Lol.

Yes. I’ve added more to the album.

If there are specific areas that you need photos of, let me know. I also moved the seat covers in a couple areas to take pictures of the original fabric to show you that there are no tears, rips, or stains. It’s in great shape.

Back carpet had a Coleman rug covering for protection. You’ll notice several cameras as well for rear view and back cargo area view. Let me know if you have any questions.

What is the cost to get the AC going, Is it a 2 compressor version with separate controls for the rear.

Lastly pictures of all top head gaskets and the transmission/engine matting are would be a hug help.. Im going to buy a van this week so pretty serious buyer, just I need to look at the common mechanical areas that typically have benign leaks.

Im assuming you haven't replaced these seals. Is it burning oil? how often do you need to refill the oil thank.

You can call too if you have questions at 814-771-7019
It does not burn oil. does not consume oil. I've driven to and from Smoky Mountains this year with no loss of oil. I have never had to add to in between oil changes and my mechanics have even commented that it does not leak in any way. I was always told to monitor that exh temp and pay close attention to not let her get high and have followed this faithfully and I believe that's what's kept her solid. I've left the dipstick off once...giving new praise to the term dipstick...and I've gotten oil splattered. lol. But it's never had any issues. No seals or changes. I'll grab some pics when I get a chance here. It's dry underneath where I park it.

I changed oil every 3500 miles. I've never had to add in between. In fact, It's going in for an oil change this Friday. I used to do this myself but it's easier when I'm friends with the mechanics and have access to lift. Changing in the driveway was no fun and was hard on my back to reach up for the work. It will be inspected on Friday as well.

The AC has not worked since I got it and I've never converted it to 134A. It's still R12. I have never tried to refill either or change anything with the AC. I am quite sure it is only one compressor. There are controls in the back but they merely control vents, I believe. I've never even looked into converting the AC. I know when you turn it on, the rpms drop slightly as they normally should and that the AC compressor is functioning. I focused on an EGR delete, installation of gauges for monitoring, front shocks/etc. I didn't spend the money to mess with switching it over.

I'll grab you some pics.

Here are some additional pictures that I will try to upload.

I appreciate you getting back to me, I decided to go for one a little closer to where I’m at in SLC, also I realized that with the rack on top I won’t be able to get into the garage

With the rack off...I have maybe 1-2.5 inches to spare when pulling in my garage. It's close with it off. With the rack on...you better have a garage built for a semi. haha.

In regards to gauges...my turbo boost gauge is as accurate as my Glowshit gauge for the turbo but the one that I have is from Harbor Freight for about $19. Yea...sad. To monitor turbo is good...but I would say to monitor EXT/coolant temp more. Just my thoughts in a short reply.
Thank you! Have fun with the rig!

Bro!! Thank you so much. This Delica rolls solid & smooth down the highway and through the hills! Im just taking a quick break off the highway. Maine is about 7 more hours.
I appreciate you.
Mike
