It's just not useful with an automatic transmission.

I'd like to pass it on to someone with a manual transmission who can use it; I'd like to get $150 for everything (the valve alone was ~$160).
I'll include the modified valve with both flapper plates, gaskets, and wiring (mounts directly to the OEM turbo downpipe).
Black iron spacer sleeves sized to accommodate the valve on the downpipe studs (replaces the longer sleeves the aftermarket exhausts use).
The cheap mechanical boost/vacuum gauge complete with all of its' parts (never actually installed).
Plate/gasket/fitting/high temp hose to connect the boost gauge to the exhaust manifold (temporarily, in place of EGT probe).

This cannot be installed with an exhaust that uses the OEM style donut coupling at the downpipe; but it can be installed in any other exhaust that retains the OEM downpipe without any additional modifications required (I didn't even need to adjust/bend any hangers).

But it probably won't be just "bolt-in" either... you will want to make a couple test runs and drill some bypass holes into the flapper to limit back pressure to around 30 psi. I believe it was fully closed and reading 30 psi on my van, but I'm not sure because that's thre max the pressure gauge reads.. Once it's tuned to your engine, then I would reinstall the EGT gauge and never worry about it again.

You can regulate the valve and stop/reverse it at any point; but it's slower to open/close than a vacuum activated valve.

yeah too bad you can't control the lock up on converter. I tried years ago at my transmission shop. They said it was not possible.
Perfect for a manual tho!
