Chattanooga/Atlanta/Nashville Mechanic

Hey folks, sounded like I just grenaded my L300 4D56 engine, 4 weeks before leaving for a 12 month roadtrip. I'm in Chattanooga, TN, and I have a great mechanic for everything but the Engine. He just doesn't do diesels. I'm leaning toward a D4BF Crate engine, but need someone to put in in for me, any ideas? Our local heavy diesel mechanic basically just laughs at us Delica folks and says they'll look at it in 3 months whenever we try to talk to them.
 
I had a pre-purchase inspection done at Lance's Foreign Auto Repair in Nashville. They recommended Bennet's Automotive for some of the work. They seemed comfortable with Delicas but I decided to do all the work myself so I can't speak for their work.

Awesome, I'll call them tomorrow when I check on engine availability.
 
This might be a little late but I would check with the guys at Southeast imports in Chattanooga. I know they have a mechanic on staff. At the very least I would swing by and speak with them. They're nice guys and knowledgeable.
