English Speaking - Looking for Fellow Delicas in Japan

Hello!

We just purchased our Delica and look forward to exploring Japan over the next three years. We are In northern Japan in Misawa. Is anyone else out here?

Connor how/where did you purchase your Delica in Japan? I’m moving out there in 2 years and hoping to purchase another one.

Originally, I was looking at GooNet Exchange. The English version is more geared towards export from Japan. So, someone suggested that I start looking at the Japanese Goo Net meant for used car sales domestically in Japan. I found one that was listed and then I used an English-speaking dealer to call and negotiate the sale with the dealership that had it listed.
Overall the process was fairly easy! I was originally looking for a Land Cruiser, but I couldn't seem to find "The One" without adjusting my budget another $5K

That's dope! I recently found out Tokyo changed a requirement for Diesel vehicles to convert to cleaner burning DEF to cut emissions and many Delica owners in the area sold theirs. Mines gas, what about you guys?
