Fender flare question

Hi guys. New to the forum but not to delicas. I have a few of em, two of which are for sale. Anyway, I have an issue maybe you guys can help me with. I bought fender flares for my personal super exceed. The problem is when I mount them, the cargo door doesn’t go out wide enough to clear the rear pass fender. Anybody know how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

If you order the little extender part, I'd like to be in on that order too. I've tried to reach out to FTS, and they don't even respond to my inquiry. Too bad, because shipping should be low for that part.
