First Trip In the D5

5000KM from Canada to Arizona and back... with a new RTT, a 6 month old baby and a freshly imported untested D5 Delica... first D5 to trek through the states?

Perhaps the L300 we saw climbing out of Zion is on the board? Didn't get any video of you.. but your passenger seemed pretty excited by the D5 ;)
This was a our first trip taking the baby camping, and first time using an RTT instead of the camperized L300... this is also my first try at a "Vlog" type video so let me know what I need to work on.

So, what was the cause of the low mileage? Watched the whole amazing video and you left me hanging! :p

Oh ya suppose I probably shoulda wrapped that up.After we swapped the plugs we got anywhere from 350-400. Funny thing is the plugs looked just fine...
 
You guys are so brave haha... I wish I had the tools to figure those things out on the road. I suppose that mileage is because the roof tent eh. Or what are your thoughts?

Brave.. dumb... fine line lol.

The RTT didn't help anything I am sure but we got much better after the plug swap.
