greetings to all Deli owners and wanabee's. i got to my 91 glx low roof in a round about way this year. i had been planning on a motorcycle trip to LABRADOR and the arctic circle in april of this year but to make a long story short had an accident 1 week before departure and got very banged up and spent the next 3 months healing. while flat on my back i turned to the internet and found one in PA. i couldn't drive it because it was a standard so i sent some good friends to pick it up. while i was recovering from broken back, leg, pelvis, hip,achillies,neck i started to research my new baby. i did all the normal filters and fluids and took off for Canada. 4700 miles later with not so much as a flat tire i was back home in upstate N.Y. still recovering i was able to replace the exhaust system;transfer case seal,front/rear shocks,sway bushings,fuel lines,glow plugs,starter,wet foot syndrome,led glove box/dash lights,and made an arm rest console. i'm not going to touch it till i get to FL. cause it's running so well but my next project will be to inspect timing belt and valves and install a bi-pass oil filter. i hooked up a vacuum gauge to the turbo and max boost is 8 lbs but she runs strong! getting 24-26 mpg at 60mph so i don't see any advantage to upping the boost like some have done(it can only hurt mileage) and let's face it it will never be anything other than what it is. looking forward to meeting all in FL. in dec. flip
