I picked up/saved a neglected Delica l300 Exceed, auto, 4wd, turbo diesel from an alley on the south side of Indianapolis on 3/1/24. It was leaking every fluid in alarming quantities, but I was able to drive it approximately 8 miles home. It was by far the cheapest Delica I have ever seen posted for sale in the USA, but its condition reflected that. I plan to base line it, perform a mild restoration, and enjoy it this summer as a camping vehicle. My sister has a Delica l300 in Portland, OR which we have taken on several adventures and so I am familiar with just how awesome these vehicles are. Photo of it on jack stands in my driveway awaiting parts from Coombs. This forum has already been very useful as I have worked through the fuel system leaks. unnamed.jpg

Thanks, things are going well! I was able to remove the plastidip and uncover decent factory paint. It appears you have the same color comboView attachment 26197
Nice, looking good! Have you discovered any of the leak sources? Mine is leaking coolant somewhere from the front of the engine. It's hard to get a confirmation visual with all the belts, but I'm pretty sure it's coming from the water pump. I'm going to remove the belts and fan to get a better look.

I would remove the fan shroud and the timing cover and have a look at the front of the engine. Inspect upper and lower radiator hoses as well. This is easy to do. Mine was mostly leaking fuel and oil. I have removed and ultrasonic cleaned the injectors and replaced with all new washers, replaced all fuel soft lines, and the fuel return rail. Most oil seems to be from the valve cover gasket.
