Hub caps

Does anyone know if the center hub caps from the L300 is the same as on the L400? They look identical, but I can’t tell if theres a size difference.

Do you have pics?
I've got Mitsubishi center caps that I haven't seen on other L300's - and nothing close on L400's.

I believe this is the same as referenced in the post above... but it does not accommodate the different style cap required for the auto-locking hubs on our rigs. Has anyone found those?

The little plastic clippy-things are added to accommodate the auto hubs. Taller in front where the hubs are, shorter in the rear where they are not needed. Trust me, I just did mine. If all four hubs have the small clips, just take them off two and you are good to go.

Ah, right on. OK, for $20, I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

One more tip: use silicone to keep them on. In the event they need to come off, you can easily just break the silicone seal and then re-apply later when they go back on. Mine have been on using this method for 2 months and no issues. I found that if nothing is used, the hub caps just tend to fall off when you hit a small bump as they are not on securely.

I can see how the center caps stay on with those tension clips, but I'm a little confused as to how the perimeter ring stays on the wheel assembly itself. Is it a pressure fit of some kind, or do you have to slip it under the edge of the bolts and then retighten it on, or...?
