That's actually what is wrong with mine is the metal strapping is broken off. Switch itself still functions. But I was able to find it from Amayama so we're good! Thank you for the response.

Those switches are part of the electrical gremlins that live in my delica. The step works all summer and gives problems when it gets damp in the fall. Hooray for summer.
Power runs through various circuits to the step and i hope the micro switch is the solution to your problem. I find I need to be patient when the step won't open. I cleaned the contact on both end switches and that worked for the last 6 months.
I wish Delica made a power step on the drivers door. I toyed with the idea of installing a step there but life is too busy to get to a lot of of my solutions.

You can reposition the end switches for a better contact. Sometimes they move on the install screws and need repositioning. Mine did.
Man, those switches look a lot like these:

They probably are the same. Are they rated outdoor use. The delica ones may not be any better.
