Hi All,
As I am planning on delving into the weird and possibly questionable world of Delica Ownership, I thought it best to pop in here and gain the insight of you helpful & knowledgable folks.
I am looking to buy an L400 to use as a dedicated Marshalling vehicle (mostly forest rallies in Wales, UK) and was hoping that I could get some pointers on what problems/pitfalls to look out for and where in the UK (the closer to the Midlands the better) I stand a good chance of finding a decent, recommended dealer?
My plan at the moment is to look for a later model (early 2000s) 8-seater, preferably the "Active Field" edition (although, if I'm perfectly honest, I'm not exactly sure what the difference is between that and the Chamonix). Also, as I'm aware that an old 3L V6 is not the most economical engine in the world, I would probably look to get it LPG converted.
Any advice/guidance you folks could give would be greatly appreciated.
