This was my first outing with the rooftop tent. My friend Eric, a fellow L300 owner, came along for the trip. We spent Saturday day at Santos mountain bike park in Ocala, FL so I could get me some excersiiiiize. Lemme tell ya, go for a ride in the advanced section of that park and you'll forget that you're still in Florida. After mountain biking we headed out to find a good spot to sleep in the National Forest. Following some coordinates we jotted down from a Jeep overlanding video posted on youtube, we arrived at dark to find a bulldozer had closed the opening to the site. Fortunately a local in a hooked up Tacoma came by and offered to take us to a spot he had recently found just up the road. Cold and tired, we hopped in the Delicas and followed him up the road. This dude found us what must have been the coolest, chillest spot in all the land. No more talk; check the pics!
