Picture of my new ride. Adding a 2" lift.

I have a hard enough time climbing in w/o a lift (30" tires). So far I've only gotten stuck once when the bash plate floated the front end in deep/heavy mud.

Not sure if I should add the 2" lift. How do you like yours

I really like the way my Delica looks now. Getting into it is a lot more challenging but that's a small price to pay for epic ground clearance and a killer stance. I will say, however, that lifting it drastically altered the alignment and it needed to be re-aligned. Because my Delica is a little rusty, the alignment cams on the lower control arms were seized in place and as a result, performing the alignment was a nightmare. Furthermore, having big tires and a tall lift reduces your fuel economy. Alot.

How much extra clearance do you really get? An inch or so at the axles due to larger tires?

I actually have never measured. It's a lot with everything combined. I will try and measure it today for you!
