    Loose Rear View Mirror

Thanks! I got scared and ended up using the heat method done by a few others to pop the glass out. My ball never got thaaaaat tight, so an o-ring might still be in my future . Hair dryer did the trick: https://delicaforum.com/index.php?threads/center-rear-view-mirror-fix.1128/post-60938

    Center Rear View Mirror Fix

In an even lower budget option, a hair dryer worked well! I used a mixture of my hands (wasn’t that hot) and bicycle tire levers. I barely had to heat it up to pop it back in.

How did you manage to pop the ball joint out?! Here are some pictures of the back of mine for comparison. The inner "gasket" of mine appears to have a split in it (upper left of the joint). I thought maybe messing with this would get me somewhere, but I got nothing. Getting the ball out without...

Manufacturing Date - Physically Printed on the Van

Oh another great idea for folks! I have unfortunately (fortunately?) replaced the spare when I got my first set of tires since it was in pretty sore shape.

Colorado registration in 7 "easy" steps (including emissions!)

In CA I had to go with high patrol- wasn't the worst, but also nerve racking. And yup, looks like appointments are months out. I'll call around to see if I can find a VIN Verifier locally that can fill out the form more completely.

I am the first US owner - I never did the EGR delete, so I presume it is still there. Any other recommendations on the emissions test? Looks like @mattyk2 had challenges too. I saw the other thread mentioned going biodiesel, but it doesn't look like that's much of an option down here.

Manufacturing Date - Physically Printed on the Van

Great find on the trim piece. I doubt the EPC would fly given the year on my previous state’s registration and Title wasn’t enough, but I will ask! I will take a look at the trim piece tonight! FYI it looks like the rules in CA have changed but the CHP officer I worked with did something...

I went to AAA because we were already there for our other car. They were willing to do the van, they just left a lot blank :) Maybe I’ll “shop around” for a VIN Verifier. Thanks for the info on the CSP!

Manufacturing Date - Physically Printed on the Van

Hello All! After 7 years of ownership and three states with successful registrations and titles (CA included!) - my 4th state is giving me trouble. Colorado requires a VIN Verification before going to the DMV. This is where a person looks at your vehicle and fills out a form so the DMV clerk...

Colorado registration in 7 "easy" steps (including emissions!)

Cross posting from this thread to in hopes for visibility. I just moved to Colorado (The Springs) from WA - I've owned my van since 2017 and have had it registered in PA, CA, and WA....somehow CO seems to be the hardest so far. I can't get past the VIN Verification, so I am basically stuck at...

    The L300 Suspension Thread

Seems like you got your answer, but yes you want the welded tab! I will look up the P/N I used for my tie rods tomorrow. Immediately after installing new parts I went to an old school racing shop for an alignment. I found some numbers in the shop manual. I'll see if I can dig them up tomorrow...

@ccmickelson I haven't gotten around to writing an update yet, but I installed them on my van as well! Glad to hear they worked out for ya. I think two vans are a big enough sample size to say they officially work :D -One

    The L300 Suspension Thread

Just an update on my progress. Things have been a little slower than desired, but I am chugging along. The upper control arms appear to be a direct bolt in, but I haven't actually installed yet. I didn't fully plan this out, and didn't realize I also needed to take the shock off (at least the...
