I still have
I still have it. It needs some fiberglass repair on the one or maybe both ends. I do not have any hardware. I'm inclined to keep it, but PM me with an offer if you want. The part is in Austin, TX.
I installed a boost gauge a few weeks ago. It is tee'd into the hose going to the IP. It works as expected. Boost has registered 9-10 psi max.
I recently installed a Turbosmart manual boost controller. I put it inline with the hose going to the wastegate, with the arrow pointing toward the...
Did they make them for the L300? My L300 came with a spoiler in rough shape, but I couldn't tell if it had been installed or was a part from a different van.
Edit:
Added pics held up to my 93 l300
Any idea on how it attaches? I either drill holes in the hatch or have some sort of clip. Ideas?
Such kind words! I’ve put a lot of work into fixing rust and terrible old body repair. The trim work was all removed, cleaned and painted; that made a big difference. I think I’ve used 4 different brands/shades of white on it. The picture kind of blurs it all together.
I want to repaint it...
I haven’t made any adjustments yet. I have not been driving the van much and have not had the problem present itself again. I want to take a look at the IP while it’s happening.
There is a safety wire around the adjuster so I don’t think anyone messed with it while in the van. When I got it the...
Bump. Anyone have insight on this? The idle is usually very stable, but this has happened a couple of times driving around town in hot weather (90s).
Probably unrelated, but my horn has started honking erratically. I pulled the number 3 fuse to stop it. I don’t know if this effected the idle...
Saga begins with cooling system, timing belts, and oil seals in TX. See previous Post.
I drove up to MN on easy highways and farm roads. Hit 70 a few times. My coolant temp gauge never went above half. Keeping EGT below 600C.
On my way back to TX I headed west to SD and after a few days of...
I have the above front runner rack with the awning. It’s very nice. I have had high quality powder coated steel roof racks on other vehicles and am very happy with this aluminum rack. I don’t expect much maintenance with it. Even the supplied hardware is nice.
Update:
All the work paid off; the Delica made it from Austin, TX to Minnesota without issue. I didn't push hard; I tried to keep it between 60-65. This is right at 3k rpm in 5th. Most of the drive is pretty flat, nothing like what a lot of you are driving over in the West. It was 100F...
