Just a quick look at the mock up, this is not fully installed yet. This is generally how the floor will look:

LOL it's hard to find anything semi decent that fits that space. this isnt an exact fit, but its close and minor modification will fit perfect.

    My Turtle Van the JB470

I am starting my shower conversion. The Tec Vanlife insert came today. I have a plan for making this fill the space perfectly, so stay tuned! Mine is the shower pan with the bamboo insert seen here: https://tecvan.co/products/ultra-low-profile-shower-pan-recessed-shower-pan Other than a...

    My Turtle Van the JB470

Mine only came with a toilet, there is no plumbing for a shower head, heater, tank etc. I was looking at adding a water tank etc but the weight is sort of against my plans. I do have a gray water tank though, so I am planning on finishing the shower, adding a drain, and installing a heated...

    My Turtle Van the JB470

My van never came with a drain pan. Well, I guess maybe over the last 25 years it had one at some point possibly, but my floor is sealed. It's so weird because youd expect to have one with the way the floors and wall are, but just a toilet was in mine. I haven't found one that fits, and I want...

Small update, Currently back in Utah to ship some product I had pending and pick a few things up. It snowed. I saw a great opportunity to drive the rv in the mud and snow and climb a really steep incline. This thing is very capable!

Yeah, its just that there's really not enough house battery and nowhere to put more in without a lot of work. I have a 400ah battery and unless I leave the starlink on overnight, OR dont get a good charge during the day (clouds, storms, etc). I have 400 watts on the roof, a 400ah LiFe battery...

    My Turtle Van the JB470

My first somewhat major excursion in the van post modifications took place over the last few weeks. My trip was basically Salt Lake, south through Las Vegas, then a couple of weeks in San Diego before returning home. I did not do any real off road adventuring on this trip as it was mostly...

So that is the backup camera. Strangely though it recently stopped working, not sure if its a fuse or what, but it barely worked anyways with that cctv. I have only seen that cable for a starlink, Its the one that comes with it.

I almost forgot. One other thing I have been planning is to keep clothing storage under the dinette/ main seats. I did a lot of research and decided to use these cotopaxi packing cubes. I can fit 14 t shirts in one of them. pictured here is: Cube 1: 14 t shirts Cube 2: 14 pairs of socks, 14...

    My Turtle Van the JB470

So it's been a bit of a week trying to get her ready to leave town. I noticed that my clutch master cylinder had a leak, so it was time to order parts! @stevenlee was able to get me the new master cylinder in just a few days saving me the hassle of ordering the next closest part that was...

    Thinking of Purchasing an JB500

I picked mine up in Galveston Texas and drove from Galveston to Portland Oregon then back to salt lake in about a week. I believe it was 3400 miles. Ran fine, but it was summer so in Moab area I did get a little heat soak and pulled over to let her cool down. The car will do 100-110km/hr on a...
