    Transmission Noise..

92' L300, Diesel, 4D56T. Seem to have a bearing noise coming from my transmission which occurs when in neutral with the clutch out, but goes away when the clutch is depressed. From some reading i believe this may be due to a bad Main Shaft Bearing.. Wondering if someone could help corroborate...

    Vacuum line sensor question

Can someone tell me what this vacuum sensor is? has two ports for lines and both go nowhere or end in broken hoses. Assuming one should go to the fuel pump and the other, not sure.

    AC refrigerant leak

I had a leak in one of the fittings from the expansion valve to the evaporator core. This is easy to check by pulling out the glove box and removing the square 5" flexible accordion hose just left of the black box which houses the valve and core.

    Transmission leaking…

So had a ‘weeping’ transmission for about a month and as of recently got much worse after sustained highway driving. Transmission and transfer case fluid levels seem to be fine and fluid in both looks ‘clean’. I did a scrub and clean of everything in hopes of locating the leak and also re-sealed...

    Suspension Travel Questions

So looking to increase my suspension travel on my '92 L300 (as i am lifting tires a lot while off-roading) and wanted to see if i'm going about this the right way. Installed new shocks, torsion bars, and an add-a-leaf to the rear. About to install a front ball joint spacer (which is...

    L300 Weight Limitations

Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere, i was unable to find it. Curious about how these vans are performing from people who load them down with heavy accessories: roof rack, awning, roof top tent, swing out tire carrier (~500lbs!), etc. Understand that minimizing weight on the roof is...

    Power steering pump issues L300

Mounted it up and cranked over the engine and seems to be working great. Hindsight would lubricate the parts with ps fluid during reassembly. Thanks!

    Power steering pump issues L300

Power steering pump on my 92’ L300 was leaking fluid so got a gasket rebuild kit. Rebuilt and now the pulley wheel seems very tight and hard to turn. Does fluid just need to flow through the pump for lubrication or did I rebuild bad?? Any thoughts appreciated.

    '92 Delica L300 A/C Expansion Valve

Looks like i have been loosing A/C refrigerant and thinking that the likely cause may be the Expansion Valve. Has anyone experienced replacing or sourcing parts for this? Thanks!

Removing rear sway bar for more articulation?

Hearing/reading some rumors that removing the rear sway bar is a standard job to increase rear articulation. Seems like it may be fine for off-roading but dangerous for highway travel?

    Installing Torsion bars

So realized what my issue was here. My rear Leaf Springs were totally shot. Getting them re-formed and having an additional leaf put in increased the height of the back and allowed me to tighten the torsion bars. So new shocks, torsion bars, and leaf springs (at the right tightness) gave me a...

    92' L300 Rear Leaf Springs

Apologies for my ignorance here: installing air shocks will allow me to lift the back end enough so the leaf springs are no longer flat providing a solution that does not require any changes to the leaf springs themselves?
