    A/T Kickdown Cable trouble

Hey bizzy, Do you still have you’re old kickdown cable to reference? That’s your go to. The transmission end of that kickdown cable looks about right. Although (At least for my deli) the engine side of the cable-end used a clevis and pin to interface with the arm of the injector pump...

Managed to re-sleeve the cable and re using the plastic crimp on the end of the cable that slips into the transmission. he then re soldered a new barrel on the end. Worked like a charm. the fun part is getting the...

    A/T Kickdown Cable trouble

Hi everyone! I was troubleshooting the turn signal fuse as it shorted, and found my way to the transmission. Wow. What a mess. The kickdown cable seemed to have chafed against the neutral safety switch and shorted melting quite a bit of stuff. I can source the neutral safety switch easily...

    Mystery Switch???

Thanks Growler! The black wire must be for a light although it must have burned out.. So essentially it is a solenoid controlling vacuum from the vacuum to the rail to the idle up vacuum actuator? Is that solenoid usually controlled by the AC on/off switch?

    Mystery Switch???

Hi Everyone! So I am trying to tackle this switch that has been previously mounted on the dash. The previous owner does not know the use and said when he would leave it up it would kill the battery. The black wire goes directly to ground and the red wire goes directly to the battery. The...

    Waste Gate Control Arm Help

Hi Guys, Just installed a new aft turbo housing and noticed when installing the control arm back up that it was a little tight. Which leads me to question in what position the linkage should be when the waste gate is closed (my exhaust is on so I cant just look in the housing unfortunately :p)...

    Fuel leaking from belts

Did my timing belt two weeks ago and noticed the same leak, I changed IP front seal on the shaft without removal of the pump. the seal is pretty cheap but puts up a good fight coming out compared to the oil seals. As stated above, the IP sprocket being banged out can really damage the IP. So...

    Whats The Diff??

Hey everyone, Just looking at the technical data sheet and it suggest Hypoid 80w or 90 (GL4 or GL5) for a conventional diff OR Castrol LS 90 or LSX 90 (GL5 or GL6) for a limited slip diff. So maybe a dumb question but now can I tell which type of differential is fitted to my Delica L300...
