    Bilstein Front Shocks (NEW)

Thanks for your reply! I'll take a look at the Bilsteins. I've read from a few other sources that they tend to be soft for the JB's. Maybe due to the additional weight we carry? I understand that Nulla lifted his rig a couple of inches. Did you do the same? I assume these shocks are longer...

    1996 JB470 Interior Dimensions

Hi Alex. Congrats on your purchase! The cabover bed in my '95 JB470 is 74" long and 70" wide when the bed board is extended. The mattress is divided into several sections so that they can be stacked when the bed board is retracted. Hope that helps!

Right hand to Left hand drive conversion

Unfortunately I don't have any photos of the conversion process and am unable to visit any of the workshops to get more detail. They are at the port of entry for the vehicles, located about 2000 km from where I am (Chile is a very long narrow country!).

    Bilstein Front Shocks (NEW)

Hi Apple1449. I also own a Delica JB470 and am in the market for new shocks. Mine is a 1995. I was curious about what shocks you put on it, what your experience has been with them, and if you could share the part number. Thanks!

Right hand to Left hand drive conversion

Setting up your Delica for time travel back to 2004 sounds far more difficult than a RHD to LHD conversion! I’m sure that your same mechanic can handle it . All kidding aside, here in Chile there are several shops that specialize in these conversions based in the port cities where RHD vehicles...

Right hand to Left hand drive conversion

Hi Nulla. Here in Chile where I currently live, it's not only possible but is regularly done on all RHD imports as only LHD vehicles can be legally registered. My rig is a Mitsubishi Delica JB470, and it was converted to LHD by the importer. Basically as Sputnik mentioned, the dashboard was...

Hi All!! Newbie from PDX Looking for JB 470/500 Info

Hi Gummy. I'm a JB470 owner, which has a fair number of differences from the JB500. I'd love to have a copy of the JB470 vantech manual whenever you have an opportunity to scan it. Thanks for the offer!

Yet another Portland Delica Owner... With a twist

Nice looking rig! I've also recently purchased a JB470 and am loving it! I have a question I hope you can help me with. I'm looking to hunt down and fit my rig with the Delica L300 grill guard like you have on yours. Because the JB470 is built on the Delica truck ladder frame chassis, and the...

    What tachometer are you using?

@Nulla Thanks for your reply. No worries my friend, I fully understand about the delay, and happy to see you are enjoying life in Baja! (although I must admit that I am a little jealous also hahahaha). I spent a little time checking out your videos... they brought a smile to my face. Yo mismo...

    What tachometer are you using?

Hi Nulla! I own a JB470 delica camper, 1995 4D56T. I think my cab is near identical to your JB500, both being built on a delica truck chassis from that era. It seems that L300 delica trucks, unlike L300 delica vans, were fitted with an OEM instrument cluster that didn't include a tachometer...

    Delica JB500 Camper

Excellent! That's good news. I've been googling to try and find one online but no luck so far. I don't need anything specific at the moment, but eventually it would be nice to have a copy. I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to these kinds of details. For me, I can never get enough...

    Delica JB500 Camper

Thanks Nulla and Arnothill for your responses. Really nice to have this contact. Yes, my test drive proved it to not be a fast vehicle, but it was surprisingly faster than I was expecting having read a lot about it being 'slow'. I was also able to test its 4wd capabilities - crawling over a...

    Delica JB500 Camper

Hi to all! I'm a new member of this forum and about to acquire a 'new' 1995 Vantech Delica JB-470. 5sp 4WD 4d56 turbo with 71,000k. I'm very excited about the purchase and can't wait to dig into it and start doing some upgrades. I've been reading the forum and excited to find a few JB-470...
