1994 Mitsubishi Delica Starwagon, 2.8l Turbo Diesel, automatic transmission, 8 passenger, 4x4. RHD (right hand drive), JDM (Japanese domestic market only) vehicle, never sold in the US. Falls under the 25 year rule, not subject to any DEQ rules if older than 25 years. 25 years is also the cut-off for imports (is 25 years or older, can be imported). 216,000 kilometers/134,000 miles. Amazing shape! Probably the most RELIABLE, off road ready Delica in the US in this price range. Rare "Jasper" model with higher than normal roof, no skylights, extra cold weather insulation and TWO batteries for cold weather starts. Intended for skiers, snowboarders and winter sports. Very sought after for those looking to do a camper modification! Everything works as it should (air conditioning and heat are perfect, all transmission/oil/4x4 transfer case and brake fluids changed). New timing belt installed in Japan before import in 2018. SPECIAL MODIFICATIONS/AFTERMARKET WORK DONE:
--Aftermarket, massive steel safari roof basket added in 2018. Will hold a TON of weight and gear!
--All windows except front deep tinted to maximum legal tint.
--New radiator/upper and lower silicone hoses and thermostat in 2019, imported from Delica Works in Taiwan. Custom aftermarket.
--DelicaUSA snorkel kit installed in 2019 (basically makes it a submarine!).
--Window clippy things mod done in 2019 (so windows can be rolled up and down at any speed without the cabin pressure issue). Parts imported from Delica Works in Taiwan.
--New EGR delete done in 2018 (so it doesn't shit where it eats).
--Added exhaust temp. sensor on display pod on dashboard in 2018.
--New brakes/tires in 2018 (all season tires with snow traction rating--no need for chains). Also added full size spare tire matching other 4. 95% tread left.
--New timing belt installed before being shipped from Japan in 2018.
--New glow plugs and fuel filter 2021.
--Regular oil/filter changes every 3500 miles or so.
--New aftermarket Delica Works side dump exhaust imported from Taiwan. Installed in 2021 (squeeks out a bit more horsepower and a bit better fuel economy).
--Aftermarket Delica Works skid plates for front transfer case and center differential added in 2019 (imported from Taiwan--custom made).
--Removed rear tube bumper and replaced with aftermarket three pronged trailer hitch/swing out side spare tire carrier with diesel and storage Rotopax in 2019. Still have original spare tire under car carrier and original rear tube bumper.
--Removed original Japanese market radio/tape-deck (won't get US radio frequencies), and added CD/DVD player with radio and satellite Serius XM radio (now I can get my Hair Nation 80's hair metal channel!). Still have original Japanese radio.
--Replaced old dim headlights in 2018 with custom ordered aftermarket LED's from Taiwan (made sure they were for left hand drive market so they don't blind US drivers). Still have old headlights.
--All wiper blades replace twice a year.
PARTS YET TO BE INSTALLED BUT COME WITH VEHICLE:
--Side ARB awning that bolts to roof rack (all installation parts included).
--Delica Works Taiwan custom heavy duty 2" lift kit with all parts needed including extended shocks and heavy duty leaf springs. This lift kit was the most heavy duty, top of the line kit you could buy. No longer made. Upgraded to super heavy duty rotating ball shackles (much better for off-roading articulation than standard).
--Front windshield visor, custom ordered from Taiwan. VERY RARE.
--Maintenance parts: Oil filter x2, air filter x1, CLEANABLE/REUSABLE air filter x1, extra set of front wiper blades, extra rear wiper blade, extra complete diesel timing belt kit (just in case).
