We've received some complaints about some seller behaviour here and it's time to implement some rules. If we are missing anything please comment here and we'll add them.
- All Part Sales Listings must be limited to this forum, do not solicit users in private, do not advertise outside this sub forum.
- Parts must be accurately described, with photos.
- All items must have a price listed, requests to "PM for price", are not allowed.
- Payments must be collected in a traceable and ethical way. Use of PayPal "friends and family" from frequent sellers to avoid buyer protection or other misleading behaviour is prohibited.
- New Sellers may be asked to provide admins a business registration or other personal details if fraud is suspected.
- Consistent Complaints and/or Violation of these rules will result in a permanent ban from DelicaForum.com.
- Be nice
I've heard of horror stories regarding paypal, where sellers have been caught out by buyers "double dipping". It's not occurred here (thankfully) but I've used paypal through friends and family but still ensured I've safely dispatched items, provided tracking numbers and insurance where possible.
I admin a large automotive buy and sell group and because paypal is independant, they've not taken onboard feedback regarding a dispute between 2 parties. Is there any alternative to the paypal rule as I'm based abroad and don't have a US bank account but want to offer parts to international buyers?
I still want to offer peace of mind and have safely shipped numerous items abroad (and would love to continue doing so). Any ideas on other options?
