    Hello, wondering if you might have some insight. We just purchased a 1996 Delica Star wagon L300. I See you're in Wis. would you have insight on how you registered? We went to local DMV and was told that it has to be done through the mail. How did you register yours? I would prefer a non collector plate. Any insight you had would be very appreciated at this point.
    Just want to drive the van.

    No it wasn't we got it directly from the importer in CA. Had to do it by mail because they said it had to be registered as a collectors and can only do those through the mail. We finally got our temporary plate about a week ago so at least we can start driving it now, Thanks for the reply

    The importer I purchased from had the Delica titled in Michigan. I was a bit confused when registering in WI because they kept asking for some special sticker and paperwork. I had the paperwork, but not the sticker. Madison DMVs were useless, as well as calling. My neighbor suggested I go to Stoughton Police Department (they do DMV registration there). It could not have been simpler.

    They took it and registered it no questions asked. I almost thought it was too good to be true, but it seems as if you have got it all figured out now.
