The drier is the "filter" in the system so if your old compressor has worn out and suffered failure you'll absolutely need to replace it. I would also flush the system with a cleaner if there is metal debris/black residue visible in the lines once the compressor is removed. PM me and I can send...

Bravo to the gents who made that exhaust! It looks very well done! I have never noticed a power increase installing an exhaust but the loss of EGT increase is always very noticeable and most beneficial.
