What Did You Do for Your Van Today?

The one part of my van that did not get sound deadened is the big metal front sheet behind the dash. Since you have it off, does it seem like this is something that'd be easy enough to access for someone to do? or would it require also removing most of the front blower system? Asking before I...

CV Does not fit, cannot find a different PN?

Reviving this old thread - but my 1996 Active World L300 Automatic also lists MR111573 as the left side Joint and Shaft kit. Unfortunately searching this part number on here only returns this one thread. @Growlerbearnz do you know how I could go about determining if this is the same part as the...

A New Monsoon Guard Source Possibly?

Got it installed, but now my window doesn't go up all the way. Theres about a 2mm gap along the top part of the window. Wonder if its because I have new weather stripping and its a bit thick?? I also had to remove the wind faring clips to get everything to fit. Unfortunately I broke both of the...

What Did You Do for Your Van Today?

a few weeks ago i managed to spill some dieselkleen in the back of my van. The person at autozone must have cut it with a blade when unpacking the box for shelving because it had a razor blade cut at the top of the bottle... enough to dribble out over a 5 hour drive and make my eyes burn like...

A New Monsoon Guard Source Possibly?

@moonpost does the little wind faring clip midway up the slant of the window cause any installation issues? Will find out soon enough... mine are arriving tomorrow!

Best 4 gauges to install on a 4D56 engine

+3 for coolant temp. You may also consider transmission oil temp. I have installed aftermarket gauges for boost, EGT, coolant temp, and transmission temp. I've also put in an electronic 12v monitor into my switch panel.

What Did You Do for Your Van Today?

Hard to tell from the image, but that fuse hack looks like a fire hazard. Why not use a piggyback fuse tap?

    Transmission mounts

forget which ones, but i think i bought the ones off Karrma for the lower and have never been able to get them installed....however, I replaced the upper with the OEM parts. Engine mounts made a much bigger difference in terms of ride quality IMO. Couldnt really say I noticed a difference for...

    Is there something missing here?

nothing missing. Air is forced in through the lower pipe, dirt and debris "pre-filter" and fall out below. air is sucked into upper pipe and then goes through the filter before heading to the turbo. All good.

    Wet floor fix...

im no expert but that seems like a good plan to me if the sealant will fully cover the exposed metal. I think i just waited for the rust converter to dry and then put the 3M sealant right over. I probably should have sprayed some primer on mine to be safe, but it was still looking good last I...

What things do you wish you thought about before you started your interior build?

here's my 10cents after ~60k miles with our interior build 1. Overall, just have a well devised plan before you begin. Take the extra time to learn how to use Sketchup or something similar so you can start to model what you are going to put inside. Then if you have the time, use some boxes or...

A New Monsoon Guard Source Possibly?

Thats great. How long have you had them and how have they held up? My driver side OEM deflector has cracked, so this seems like the best alternative since it has no adhesives like most others on the market.

A New Monsoon Guard Source Possibly?

Do the ClimAir go into the window channel? or do they get stuck onto the frame of the door with some sort of adhesive? How are they held in place?
