Introducing Desmond!
Desmond has been our trusty adventure companion for the last two years. We bought him in the Yukon, and are selling him because we are finding he just doesn’t suit our life style anymore.

Desmond is fully outfitted with a bed in the back. My wife and I comfortably sleep in the back, and there is a ton of storage underneath for all your camp gear. The bed is removable, which creates a cargo van type situation, where you can haul bikes, your washer & dryer, or whatever else you need. We also have a bench seat that goes in the back increasing the total passenger capacity to 7.

We also have mosquito net, so you can sleep with the back hatch fully open. We also made an magnetic net for the front window so you can get a nice cross breeze in the summer.

The second row captain's chairs are almost fully reclinable and swivel 360 degrees.

Is set up for towing, and we happily towed around our 16 foot Lund. I know people that have pulled a small camping trailer with their Delica.

The van has amazing clearance and can carefully pick its way across an amazing variety of backcountry roads and terrain. Put it in 4 low, and you’ll be amazed at where it goes.

The 2.0 liter diesel turbo engine will not get you anywhere very quickly, but it will get you there eventually. Learn to embrace the slower pace of life!

In the next year or two, you’ll want to replace the front suspension (ball joint, shock absorbers, steering rack boot).

There is a slow oil leak in the engine (its 27 years old!) We check it regularly, but it only needs topping up a couple times per year.

Other than that, it’s a trusty adventure machine. Perfect for car camping, and amazing backcountry access.

This van is located on Vancouver Island. We can meet you at the border.

$10,000 USD
