Year/model : 1993 Mitsubishi Delica exceed
Engine : diesel
Transmission : automatic
Mileage/km : 88,000/144,000
Location : Roanoke, Va USA
Price : $18,000.00
Summary : Love this van and honestly don’t really want to sell it buy you know….life, time to move on, had another child recently etc. I bought the van 3 years ago from Duncan Imports in Christiansburg, Va and put about 20,000 miles on it since. This van wasn’t a hobby car, it wasn’t a car that sat much at all if any, this van was my daily vehicle so I had to take good care of it and I drove it all the time. I installed a 4 bar front runner rack system and a front runner awning and I took the middle row of captains seats out, I still have the seats and the hardware and would like to send this along with purchase (uninstalled).
Issues : there is a bit or rust and flaking paint on the roof of the van, there is a very slow oil leak, when it rains hard and for more than a few hours a little bit of water gets in around the footwells more on the driver side than the passenger side. I did the seam sealing project on the front of the vehicle so I believe the leak has something to do with door linings. The suspension probably needs to be looked at soon but nothing immediate.
Maintenance : I made sure to change the oil and air filter regularly every 3-4k miles, I changed the fuel filter when I bought the van so that should be good for another 20k miles or so. Front break pads were replaced about 5k miles ago. Timing belt was replaced shortly before I bought the van, new brake mats tee cylinder and brake hoses, new harmonic balancer, alternator belt and drive belt, rear differential worked on and repaired, and had rust inspection and repair done to frame of vehicle (very minimal rust, gone now) exhaust leak most recently repaired. Just recently put new batteries in and got a brand new set of Toyo AT3 tires put on. This van is ready to roll it can be driven and probably doesn’t need anything done in the near future, but if you’re the nit picky type (like me) I’m sure you’ll find things that can be taken care of.
