D4BF Engine Purchase : Possible SCAM Hyundai Power Plaza Co

hi guys, I have found what appears to be a reputable company that supplies new Hyundai D4BF half motors in Italy of all places, the company is called SAITO (https://www.saito.it/en/p/half-engines#:~:text=Description,its high resistance and durability.) I am in contact with them right now and they are waiting on a batch of new engines to arrive in next few weeks. I'll post an update as things develop and let you know how I get on with the order.
In that link, they list a AH22 engine (aka D4BH), which has an electronically controlled injection pump that is controlled by the ECU on vehicles that have such an ECU. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but L300s don't have any appropriate ECU to control a D4BH, that's why we've been installing D4BFs, which are a closer match to our original 4D56 engines.

not a problem as the engine doesn't come with the injection pump so I will be getting the original rebuild by a diesel specialist here in Auckland (around NZ$1,700), there are a couple of things that need to be done to the new motor before fitting i.e. the original oil pick-up and sump need to be fitted to the new motor (see attachment for more detail)
